This week, we celebrated Founders Day by honoring the mission that started it all—creating a world where every child in foster care feels seen, supported, and celebrated. And thanks to YOU, our incredible community, this Founders Day was one for the books.
From inspiring stories to generous giving, every moment this week reminded us of the heart behind Tidewater Friends of Foster Care. We shared the roots of our work, highlighted the dreams of our founder Audra Bullock, and invited you to be part of the future we’re building together. You showed up—in a big way.
Because of your kindness, we raised $3,146.75 to support our Birthday Project!
That’s more than just a number. It means that dozens of children in foster care will receive birthday gifts chosen just for them. It means that even in the midst of uncertainty, they will have one day that’s all about joy. About them. About being celebrated.
