Kate is the Executive Director of Tidewater Arts Outreach and a certified fundraising executive. She has a background in nonprofit development and serves on multiple civic boards. Kate and her husband are foster parents who also foster senior pugs and share a love for music and good food.
What Kate says inspired her to join the TFFC board:
“My husband and I became foster parents Memorial Day Weekend in 2022. It’s been nothing short of a whirlwind, but the best kind of hard. We are honored to care for our three kids and to come alongside a family as they work towards reunification.
As we experienced more of TFFC’s services as foster parents, I became more interested in board membership. Audra was kind enough to let me speak with her about this mission and get involved in a very hands-on way. It’s been a blast so far!“
