Sarah serves as the Tutoring Coordinator for The Friends of Foster Care, where she supports the Tutoring Director through tutor-client matching, tutor recruitment and hiring, tutor support, and case management. She is passionate about building meaningful connections that help students and tutors succeed.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Vols!). Since graduating, she has worked with several organizations providing tutoring and academic enrichment, including programs that support youth in Title I schools. In a previous role, she managed a team of more than 250 tutors for an online learning company, providing guidance, training, and ongoing support to help tutors excel and create exceptional learning experiences for their students.
Sarah loves being part of The Friends of Foster Care and is inspired by its mission to support children and families. She feels fortunate to work alongside such dedicated staff, tutors, volunteers, and community partners. Witnessing the positive impact TFFC has on the lives of children and families is incredibly rewarding and she is honored to be part of the organization.
Sarah is married and the proud mother of three children plus her awesome dog, Angel. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, exercising, cooking, gardening, and baking.
