Anthony is President and CEO of the YMCA of South Hampton Roads. He launched the “Everyone Belongs” strategic plan focusing on mental wellness, equity, and community impact. A lifelong YMCA member, Anthony believes deeply in creating spaces that uplift and include everyone.
What Anthony says inspired him to join the TFFC board:
“I am a proud supporter of TFFC and a dedicated program innovator. I have been fortunate to collaborate with TFFC, engaging in its mission and initiatives.
Through this work, I have gained a deep appreciation for the importance of consistency in an individual’s life. Stability and reliable support systems can make a profound difference, particularly for youth facing disruptions.
I have also seen firsthand how mentorship, combined with extracurricular activities, plays a crucial role in fostering resilience, personal growth, and a sense of belonging for young people navigating challenging circumstances.“
